Windshield ADAS Calibration
Many newer vehicles have a forward-facing camera mounted behind the windshield. It powers driver-assistance (ADAS) features such as lane keep assist, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and adaptive cruise control. If that camera is even slightly out of position, the system can misread the road. ARZ Highline Motors in Saskatoon calibrates windshield-mounted ADAS cameras so these safety systems work the way the manufacturer designed them.
When your camera needs calibration
- After a windshield replacement
- After a front-end collision or camera bracket repair
- After a wheel alignment or suspension work
- When an ADAS warning or "camera unavailable" message appears
- When lane keep or emergency braking behaves inconsistently
We start by scanning your vehicle's modules for fault codes and checking the camera mount and windshield. We then run the calibration procedure your vehicle's manufacturer specifies: static (with targets in our shop), dynamic (a road drive with the scan tool connected), or both. We finish with a final scan to confirm the system reports a successful calibration.
